When we set out to relaunch the Eastern, we wanted to highlight the abundance of high quality food, drinks and entertainment across The Eastern’s four unique levels.

When it came to creating a new brand identity, we went a lot further. Rather than constructing a logo and brand line digitally, we laser cut the words: ‘The Eastern - Levels of it’ from four layers of coloured perspex – each layer representing a level of The Eastern.

By using a variety of luminous perspex colours, it allowed natural light to filter into the words and bring them to life. The constructed logo was then photographed and applied to all branding and collateral.
